A Word About Stockpiling Scrapbook Supplies

Ok, I think this is funny…it actually HURT my brain to think about all these stats….but what this fails to mention is that some scrappers (ok, me for one), likes having a big stockpile of stuff : )

A Word About Stockpiling Scrapbook Supplies
(Copied and shortened from a longer entry from a member of SoCal Scrappers).
  1. Did you know that an inch of pattern paper is estimated to be 100 sheets or 75 finished pages? so i potentially have hundreds of finished pages stacked in my crop room? wow!
  2. Did you know that one inch of cardstock is roughly 50 pages finished? ditto
  3. Did you know that shopping once a week at the scrapbook store costs most scrappers an average of $25.00 each trip? (And most have enough items at home already to make 1000's of pages.) ….$25.00 X 52 weeks a year means $ 1300 spent per year (uh, I think I am way above “average” on this stat)

Why are you telling us this lady?!?! LOL I once measured my paper (I have less no thankfully) and I had 96" worth--that is like enough to make 10,000 pages. Yeah right! Thanks for posting this during Shop Hop--might help rein us all in....
