Run, Nan, Run

I am in serious need of fitness.  As much as I love scrapbooking and paper crafts, nothing about it is aerobic.  And, it's clearly apparent all over my body.  So, I joined a women's running group, to give my health and my arse a lift.  I am making a commitment to run.....Run, Nan, Run. Think Forrest Gump...."I just felt like running......"  The group consists of beginning runners, walkers, jog-walkers, and serious hard core ripped triathletes (my co-worker Michelle is in this group - and the catalyst for getting me going).  Seriously, she is so in shape I get exhausted just looking at her.

And, to make sure I stay properly motivated and on track, I will be using my handy dandy running journal that I whipped out this week.  Love LOVE LOVE this June Bug paper from Basic Grey.  The chipboard is Zutter 8X8 chipboard covers and the coordinating white inner pages.  I also used the pre-cut pocket pages from Pinecone Press for notes, receipts, last will and testament.....LOL!  Check out my rad new sneakers.....sorry scrap budget took a hit since I bought these this month....oh well, I intend to generate more energy to scrap longer (and be able to dance on the crop table with more gusto!)

So, think of me kindly on Saturday mornings - at o'dark-thirty, getting my rear in gear (when I would much rather stay under covers nice and toasty); and other days of the week as I train for a 5k early next year.  Really, you won't recognize me in a few weeks.....

Oh, and I had so much of the yummy paper and embellishments left over from this Basic Grey June Bug pack that I put together a quick LO of my little June Bug...Franny.  She turned 7 in June

Good for you Nan! I can't wait to see you dancing on a table in your silver sneakers at the next crop I go to.

You go girl! But what do you mean? Nothing aerobic about paper crafting? I am shocked? Are you sure? I walk quite quickly across the craft room when I need something ... Does that count I wonder!!!

P.S you do realise I will now be talking all day in a Forest Gump accent ...
