A Girl, A Boy, and a Snake

I blogged a bit about the Type+Writer class I took on JessicaSprague.com. It's over now :( It was only a two week course, but it really flew by. We made six layouts, and practiced all kinds of cool typography and writing techniques. This layout was our last in the class. It focused on writing about a single topic, justifying the text, adding a title in two fonts, a subtitle with dingbats (the stars -and on the big circle on the left), and creating a tag using another designer dingbat thingy, using two fonts there as well. I'm real technical with my lingo as you can tell. So this story is about the Beanie Baby I gave my husband when we were dating. I don't think I have any other layout with that much text anywhere. Do I like digi more than traditional scrappin'? Nah. Not yet anyway :)
