Red Bee Gallery - Passionately Pink for the Cure

The Gallery event at the Red Bee finally took place last night! I say "finally" because it had been postponed a couple times from October because there were so many other events going on in the last several weeks at the store. Design Team Leader Donna Salazar compiled some lovely handmade and donated items from scrapbook celebs for the silent auction, and a bunch of scrap artists had work on display in the Gallery. All proceeds benefit Susan G. Koman for the Cure, and it looks like a nice sum was collected overall. I bid on a "Hope Journal" made by Becky Olson - it's so pretty! The winning "art" in the Gallery was Jennifer Lee's ATC cards (overall grand prize - her cards are so beautiful!), Heather Canedy's layout, Susan's Halloween cards (fellow Bay City Roller fan!), and Jessica and I tied for altered item -- her acrylic album made for her dad's birthday and my CD "princess" album, using DCWV's Once Upon a Time paper and embellies.

Yeah to all of us! And yeah to Passionately Pink for the Cure!
