I haven't uploaded any photos from the weekend, but I did have a great time teaching a couple classes at Desert Scrappers on Saturday at the Embassy Suites in La Quinta. It was a long drive, but I cranked Elvis and the Bay City Rollers to keep me company and the drive went pretty quick. I taught a mini Halloween book, as well as a chipboard book, using Rebekkah Erickson's box board words. The ladies seemed to love it, and we had a good time. Got to hang a bit with Jennifer Priest, and Crystal D. was also there....The hotel where Laura holds this event is beautiful, and of course I wished I had brought my supplies and cropped 'til I dropped. But I was anxious to get home to Peter and the girls...and...SURPRISE a last minute poker game in the garage. I played the last hand, but came in tied for third. Dang...it was the pressure to go "all in" that did me in! Took the girls to see "Game Plan" on Sunday - very cute movie. And I now officially think The Rock is a hunk and a half. Franny loves the little girl in the movie - she is on the Disney Channel's "Cory in the House."
P.S. I didn't buy anything :)

Didn't you know .... I have met The ROCK .. aka Dwayne Johnson, when he was filming Scirpion King in Yuma. You must have seen my framed picture at work! Very nice, very cute, very TALL guy! I should post the pic somewhere online ... LOL
I had a great time there too! So I signed up and am going this weekend as a cropper as well as an instructor. Love that fabric you used on your book--I've been thinking about it ever since then LOL.
