"Challenge" Projects (Day 8)

I haven't purchased any new scrapbook supplies since 9/27 - the first day of the "no shopping" challenge of the Who Gives a Scrap Yahoo! Group. I am proud to say that it hasn't slowed my projects, and in fact, I think is inspiring me to actually look to see what I have in my stash. I have had quite a few "aha" moments when I come across something (actually, many things) I didn't remember that I had! I am cropping this weekend at The Red Bee, so I hope to really put a dent in my supplies, so I have reason to shop at Ontario Expo at the end of the month! The "Not Rock Stars" book was made with the leftover supplies from the Rock Star class described below. I made it for Lisa at work (and her friends who are in a rock band.)

Took a fun class from Marah Johnson of Creative Imaginations last month - and made her fun ROCK STAR book. Marah is an inspiring lady and a "wild" artist - and I mean that in a really good way! The"ribbon" on the rings is actually plastic trash bag! She also showed us a new product coming out from CI - transferable foil. Can't wait to get some of that. It adds cool bling without the glue or mess.
