About a year ago I had the privilege of setting out with a group of newly selected ladies who were recently named the first ever Zutter Zisters Bind-it-All Design Team. It was the first time Zutter had selected a DT and my first time coordinating a worldwide talent team!I was really lucky to get to meet these ladies.....all talented, all wonderful to work with and all lifelong scrappy Zisters. This DT was originally going to serve a six month term, but everything was going so smoothly that we decided to keep the group together for a full year. And now that the year is over -- even though we are thrilled to meet our newly selected 2009-2010 Design Team -- the 08-09 team is continuing to be Zuttery as the OZZ DT - "the Original Zutter Zisters" (no, not old Zutter Zisters!!)
We just HAD to commemorate our inaugural year by doing this page swap and putting all the layouts together in the new Zutter Pre-Punched Page Protectors with coordinating Cover-Alls for Page Protectors. These products really take custom punching and binding to a WHOLE new level.
For my layout I used papers from Glitz Designs along with their coordinating clear and cardstock stickers. I used my Sizzix for the scallopped circles and flowers and my Quickutz for the alpha. The big pebbles are from Prima and I love how they add just the right something different to the center of the flowers.
The right page is a collage of some of my favorite projects from each of the OZZ DT. The collage is actually a pocket where I inserted a large tag where I typed a short tribute to each Zister.....I also signed the back of those cards for each of them!
I customized my Cover-All to match my layout - the same papers and font - and titled this keepsake "My Favorite Year". With the Pre-Punched Page Protectors all you need to do is bind the protectors and insert into the Cover-All. Then I inserted the layouts into the page protectors. Voila! Easy Squeezy.
I love love LOVE having these layouts made by these girls. Truly one of my most favorite-est projects ever!
