Lucky 13 and Cupcake Crop!

School has started for my girls, and I have been so incredibly busy on every front these days. My to-do list has many things checked-off, but items keep getting added! AHHHHHHH!

Anyway, I did get two pages for the Lucky 13 circle journal done recently. We are only giving sneak peeks of the projects so we can try to get a publishing deal. Here are the two I did - one for Jennifer Priest and the other for Gloria King. I have never been part of a circle journal and so far I love the challenge. It felt a little nerve-wracking at first to be scrapping someone else's photos. I feel so scarily responsible.....I want it to look right. But, the challenge has boosted my creativity, I think, because my own emotions don't get in the way. I feel like I can be more honest with the photos....I don't know if that makes any sense at all, but that is what is spilling out of my brain right now.

I have been hustling with shooting home videos for the Zutter blog and for my online class at MyCreativeClassroom.com. I have almost everything done for that class and am excited by all the students who are joining me! I love the idea that scrappers who I normally wouldn't get to meet because of geography can log on and all be part of something together. So excited.

Also spent some quality time today preparing for the ScrapPink Cupcake Crop on September 26 in Victorville. This is a joint event with the Divine Desert Divas and Scrapbook Royalty to benefit the Susan G. Koman Foundation. Register for this FAB event here. I will be the Scrapper of Ceremonies - helping to keep all the crafters fired up and having fun! I have prepared make 'n take kits for the participants - this shot is before I added bling and more ribbon, but you get the idea. I will have these kits for a small donation to the cause. I also raided my Zutter stash for a ton of giveaways and raffle goodies, not to mention other items from Scrappy Nan's closet of wonder. Looking forward to being with all "my peeps" for quality croppin' for a cause.

Have a great week.
