It was a great weekend at the Cupcakes for a Cure Crop in Hesperia. I had a blast MC-ing, and I will let the Divine Desert Divas brag about all the exceptional fundraising - totally rockin' there! But I WILL tell you how proud I was to help get cards made for the troops. My dad is active with the VFW in Mission Viejo and I am always glad to help the troops! Cheers to the ladies for filling the basket with cards to send overseas!I also LOVED my name tag and the cupcake flower vase that was given to the volunteers. It was the only thing I really really wanted from the event (beside the fundraising!!!) The Divas handmade all the flowers and cupcakes. So yummy in my scrap room now!
And, Tricia Gray was there from Canon, taking pictures and printing them on the awesome Selphy printer. Laura Miller and I got goofy and I made us each a layout. (she was tending to the sweetest baby ever to attend a crop...Levi Moses, five months on Saturday!).
All in all...a tremendous day. The Divas KNOW how to rock a crop!
