Prima Prima Prima - I Love Prima!

Can't wait to get full blown into all my Prima Donna activities, but in the mean time, I was able to create a couple of fun projects this week. This first was a mini book using Zutter acrylic covers. This is a 3X4 mini book that I wanted to whip out fast and that I will probably gift to a friend of mine for her birthday.

The second project was more laborious, since I was really trying to do something special with these childhood pictures of my older sisters and I. I used one of the 3-panel wood sets from Bare Elements/Creative Imaginations. I did some collaging, some distressing, some Glimmer-Misting, and probably thinking too long about it! I even created accents from Tim Holtz's fragments (though probably hard to see in this photo). Some of the flowers are the new Collage flowers from Prima, and the red ribbon, and cardboard accents are too. In the end, I decided I like it well enough to put on my hall table.

My iPie Scrapper friends and I decided to conduct an ATC exchange each month or so. The only way I could agree to this is that our group is small - only 7 of us total, meaning I could actually manage a monthly swap! We are a small but mighty pie-eating group!! LOL! Anyway, last month we kicked off with a Freedom theme, and this month is a Summer theme (go figure!). So here are last months that I have received so far (love them!) and the ones I have made that are going in the mail this week. I haven't really made ATCs before, but they are a satisfying little project when I can't do any power scrapping. Really diggin' it :)
